The Newsletter is a monthly magazine that has been providing news, comment and interaction for the whole community since 1977.
With around 100 pages of news and community information each month, it´s brilliant value at just £1.40.
The Newsletter is published around the beginning of each month. It is published by Kinross Newsletter Ltd, a company set up by Kinross Community Council. All profits are distributed to local good causes.
The Newsletter began as a way of letting people know what Kinross Community Council was saying and doing. It soon expanded and now includes:
Our name is usually shortened to ´The Kinross Newsletter´ or even just ´The Newsletter´ - the essential publication for Kinross-shire!

Any surpluses made by The Kinross Community Council Newsletter are transferred to a charitable company and given away to local good causes in the form of grants.
Community groups and individuals are again invited to apply for grant funding from Kinross Community Council Newsletter Ltd charitable company (KCCNL). This is the fund that has built up over the years from profits made by the Kinross Newsletter.
Deadlines for applications are 30 September and 31 March.
